Meet Neome Arguelles
Neome Arguelles, the visionary behind Arete Services Inc. Adult Day Program, established an initiative in January 2024. Her background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology/Music Education from the Philippines in 1996 and a Human Services Diploma from Columbia College in Calgary, Alberta in 2019. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services at Athabasca University, Neome is passionate about imparting social skills, music, and arts to individuals with special needs.
Having served as a special education assistant and language interpreter at the Calgary Board of Education for five years, Neome honed her skills and knowledge while focusing on teaching essential life skills, social skills, and employment skills to her students.
Driven by her passion for educating her students who will need transitional programs after graduation, Neome started her Adult Day Program, in which she creates specialized programs and activities for each client. She formed a trained and dedicated team to carry on the company’s mission and vision and secured a suitable space to accommodate the program’s growth.
